G-House 21 - Colour as architecture
A home for two, set within a large garden extending all the way to the Sile River, where architecture, landscape and personality come together. The project takes inspiration from the owner’s strong character and is expressed through interiors with a distinctive, personal and immediately recognisable identity. Colour, mirrors, reflections, perspectives and materials become true architectural tools: colour shapes volumes, mirrors alter the perception of space, while surfaces and materials create depth, rhythm and atmosphere. The aim is not to follow a trend, but to create a unique home, designed around the people who live in it and capable of establishing a continuous relationship with the surrounding landscape and the presence of the river.
Colour is not decoration, but a design material. It defines volumes, creates hierarchy, alters the perception of proportions and gives each space its own identity.
Mirrors become architectural elements capable of expanding the perception of space, multiplying light and reflections, and generating unexpected perspectives while creating new relationships between the interiors and the surrounding landscape.
Every design choice originates from the character of those who live in the house. No predefined formulas and no trends to follow: the project seeks an authentic, personal and unique identity.
