Elysée Hotel AG Hamburg, Deutschland, Hamburg
For the Grand Hotel Elysée in Hamburg, the project involved a complete redesign of the lobby and dining areas, transforming them into a kind of narrative gallery. An elegant and dynamic interior promenade connects the various spaces – from the cocktail bar to the café, and finally the restaurant – each with its own distinct soul and identity. The concept respects the building's classical language while renewing it through refined material choices, careful design of ceilings and flooring, and a warmer, more contemporary atmosphere. The goal: to attract a new clientele while preserving the hotel's historic and prestigious character.
Key Design Features:

- Balance between classical and contemporary: Furniture, finishes, and atmospheres reinterpret traditional style with fresh and modern energy.
- Scenic materials and iconic details: Marble flooring inspired by the Pantheon, decorative ceilings, antique paintings, bespoke furniture, and a striking marble sculpture – a replica of Donatello’s David – as a central focal point.
