I had the privilege of working alongside Cleto Munari, who became a sort of mentor to me. With him, I designed vases and rugs, but above all, I breathed a rare, precious creative air.
An extraordinary character, capable - through his stories about Carlo Scarpa, Ettore Sottsass, Alessandro Mendini, Andy Warhol, Massimiliano Fuksas, just to name a few - of transporting me into a suspended world, where you breathe pure, uncontaminated air. A world "beyond" everything. Wonderful.
Those conversations weren't just anecdotes: they were journeys. And honestly, I never came back from them.
It's also from him that I learned to infuse my projects with a sense of surprise, playfulness, and dreamlike memory - and of course, with color.
For me, design is a sacred moment: I enter my own world, far from everything and everyone, far from reality. Only there can I truly enjoy myself, dream, and create objects that tell a story about who I
am.
Objects that smile.
Playful, positive, light. They speak of my enthusiasm for life, my curiosity, and my constant desire to see beauty everywhere.
Design, to me, is this: an act of freedom. A declaration of joy.
