During Fuorisalone 2026, Le Stanze—the Milanese showroom of SpaghettiWall, Ferroluce, and Innova, located in the heart of the Durini Design District—hosts the installation "A Table for Two" by StudioCavallo21. The project is the winner of The ROOOM, the creative contest that involved 24 architecture and interior design firms, who were asked to imagine a private dining room that brought together the products of the three brands and reimagined the space for hospitality.
Mirco Cavallo and Matteo Verardo designed an immersive, intimate, and decidedly seductive interior: the inspiration is rooted in an archetypal imagery, a primordial tale suspended beyond time and space that harks back to the first human encounter, that of Adam and Eve.
SpaghettiWall wallpaper, colorful Ferroluce ceramic lamps, and Innova furnishings and seating guide the project, transforming the space into a visually captivating setting. Walls and floors interact with each other through symbolic references and patterns, creating an enveloping, sensorial Eden narrated through lush vegetation, bright colors, and a metaphorical lyricism centered on the theme of temptation. At the center is a round table, set with only a red apple bathed in dramatic lighting. Around it, the silhouette of a snake, reproduced on the floor, unfurls. It unleashes the motif of desire and original sin and becomes the narrative fulcrum of the project.
Every detail contributes to a coherent narrative, where surfaces, furnishings, and colors create a space brimming with evocative power, where the hanging armchair becomes an allegory of the tree from which the fruit fell, ready to be consumed.
"A Table for Two" will be open to visitors during Milan Design Week at the Le Stanze showroom, located at Via Cino del Duca 2, and showcases a design approach that showcases design as a narrative language.
